Suggested minimum age of applicants: 15 years old and up. Adults are also welcome to consider working at the camp for extended work terms over the summer in any of the positions listed.

Experience: Equip (CIT) and/or previous experience working with youth.

Assistant Director (16 weeks)
Team up with the executive director to serve as a resource and supervisor to all summer staff. Specific duties will include: spiritual leadership of campers and staff; program planning; volunteer recruitment; acquiring camp supplies.

Office Manager (14 weeks)
This position is for someone with an administrative mind and good organization skills. Specific duties include: managing all phone, email, and mail communications; data entry; staff and camper scheduling; managing financial transactions.

Program Director (12 weeks)
If you have a creative mind and know how to have fun with campers, then this position may be for you. Specific duties include: planning weekly programs, executing those programs, managing interest groups, leadership of program volunteers and Leaders in Training.

Head Cook (9 weeks)
Tackle one of the most important positions in camping—good food is a huge part of a positive camping experience. Specific duties include: preparing all meals; assisting in ordering food; optimizing food purchases; maintaining kitchen cleanliness; leadership of Assistant Cook, Leaders in Training, and kitchen volunteers.

Assistant Cook (9 weeks)
Team up with the Head Cook for a summer full of learning the ropes of the kitchen. This a challenging, yet rewarding position. Specific duties include: assisting in the preparation of all meals; maintaining kitchen cleanliness; leadership of Leaders in Training and kitchen volunteers.

Maintenance Director (12 weeks)
Use your hands-on skills for this revitalized position of caring for all aspects of maintenance. We need someone with experience in carpentry, plumbing, grounds-keeping, and janitorial skills. Specific duties include: maintaining camp facilities, basic repairs, small building projects, leadership of Leaders in Training and maintenance volunteers.

Head Lifeguard (9 weeks)
Guard the lives of our precious campers and staff . . . in the water that is. Specific duties include: lifeguarding at the pool and waterfront, maintaining pool and waterfront equipment and areas, leading campers in pool/waterfront activities, leadership of Assistant Lifeguard and other lifeguards. Head lifeguard is required to have National Lifeguard Society Certification (NLSC).

Assistant Lifeguard (9 weeks)
Team up with the Head Lifeguard in managing and maintaining all pool and waterfront activities and equipment. Specific duties include: lifeguarding at the pool and waterfront, maintaining pool and waterfront equipment and areas, leading campers in pool/waterfront activities. Assistant Lifeguard is required to have National Lifeguard Society Certification (NLSC).

Global Adventures/Camper Discipleship Coordinator (9 weeks)
If you have a passion for God’s work around the world, and long to see campers in discipleship in our own communities, then this is an excellent way to be a part of that end. Specific duties include: planning and executing a weekly program promoting the awareness of local and global mission work; maintaining a program that will assist in ensuring our campers continue to be discipled back at home.

Cabin Leader (8 positions) (9 weeks)
Get ready for a summer of excitement on the front lines of ministry. This is one of the most important positions at camp, for it is through the lifestyle of a cabin leader that the Gospel is transmitted. Specific duties include: caring for all the needs of a cabin full of campers; spiritual guidance of campers; leading campers in program activities; planning and leading interest groups.

First Aid Attendant/Photo Capture (9 weeks)
Care for the needs of campers as you hand out medications, attend to minor injuries, document treatments, and oversee the health of our staff. First Aid attendant must have First Responder training or higher. Also, capture photos, videos, etc of camp activities, prepare photo CDs for sale to campers, and organize pictures for future promotional material.

Leader in Training (6 positions) (6 weeks)
This is an opportunity at Camp Tulakadik to learn the ropes of camping ministry. Spend six weeks of your summer learning the ins and outs of working in the kitchen, cabin leading, maintenance work, and helping out with programming. Also, spend some time in training sessions with the Assistant and Executive Director. Suggested minimum age: 15+.
